The Opening Chapter to Francona the Indian Years?

There really are no words so let's just get right to this priceless video of Tito Francona leading the Cleveland Indians in a Harlem Shake Video

WOW...

  1. There is so much to love here. I love the guys dressed as Harry and Lloyd from Dumb and Dumber. I love Francona in a baby costume. I love Francona's wiggle as the music starts to play. I love the parrot doing the worm. So much goodness. Cleveland has cemented its place as my second favorite baseball team.

Also, did anybody else notice that there is a half-full plastic cup of beer on one of the tables? So Francona is still allowing beer in the clubhouse. They probably hid the fried chicken and ps3 controllers for the video. We all know where that type of clubhouse tomfoolery leads...to hiring Bobby Valentine.

I bet the Red Sox tried to film their own Harlem Shake video, but Satan Aceves sniffed out that there was a form of fun taking place and silenced them all with his evil eyeballs.

This is a what a winning atmosphere looks like.

    2. Apparently my sarcastic tone didn't come across in my comment. Let me be clear: I love fried chicken. I love beer. I love Playstation 3. I hate Bobby Valentine. I miss Terry Francona and the glory years. I thought it was ironic that there was a cup of beer in the video.

    3. No the sarcasm was there in the original comment. I'm just a little defensive nowadays when it comes to Tito. Maybe it's because I read his book from cover to cover and it made me even more nostalgic for the glory years or maybe it's because of all the dumb comments that people make on boston.com trashing him as a manager.
