6/27 Daytime Baseball: Jays at Red Sox

The Red Sox play a day game today against the Jays, first pitch at 1:35pm.  Today features the rubber game of the three game series.  If the Red Sox win, they will have gone 11-3 in their last 14 games, while if the Jays win they will have gone 8-4 in their last 12 games.  The matchup features two young lefties who are billed as two of the best in the AL: Ricky Romero (8-1) vs. Jon Lester (4-5).  Here is the Sox lineup:

    1. Romero makes it out of the 1st, but has already given up more runs today than in any other start of the entire season. Sox #wakedandraked today!

  2. I think Joey Bats just hit the longest homer over the Monster since McGuire in the All-Star game in '99. That thing was crushed. I think someone had to swerve to avoid it on the Mass Pike. Probably not a good idea to groove low 90's fastballs down the middle to that guy.

  3. Just getting home and seeing that the Sox won 10-4. Big win for the Sox as they had to the West Coast. Let's keep it rollin' in Seattle!! Who had big days today for the Sox??
