Stephen King's New Novel

The 2012 Boston Red Sox.  Is this the worst 3 game start in Red Sox history?  To be fair even Stephen King couldn't write stuff this terrifying!!  It has to get better right?

  1. I hope to hell it is a Stephen King short story and not a novel!! It has to get better unless they go 0-162. But at minimum if not a bullpen crisis, there has to be a confidence crisis in AA, MM, and the fallout on the whole team. If either Aceves or Melancon can rack up a couple of saves in Toronto they have a bigger set than they showed in Motown.

  2. Certainly Padilla and Morales are not a crisis, but I think you hit the nail on the head (or at least referenced it) hopefully the team hasn't lost confidence in the pitching already. That will cause everyone to try and do too much which won't help things. By the looks of some of the tweets on the redsoxmaineiacs main page twitter box the players are still confident. I saw tweets from Kelly Shoppach and Ryan Sweeney that were still positive. Let's keep the faith!!

  3. At least we know without a doubt that none of the Red Sox are taking Performance Enhancing Drugs. This weekend being proof.

  4. On the plus side we didn't just get swept by the Orioles, that's about it.

  6. I just want to say....I was bummed by the Sox blowing two leads, BUT did you see that DOUBLE EAGLE live yesterday. WOW...my first ever. I have replayed that ten times tonight. Crazy shot. OK..back to baseball. My gut says....we're gonna be fine. Toronto is a place to turn things around. I gotta keep the faith.

    1. I missed the double eagle live. I had to settle for the highlights. I like the optimism and I agree we've got to keep the faith. It's too early in the season not to.
