  6. By the way, though, regarding Brandon's guess of Matt Albers...Albers does have something in common with the right answer that none of the other guesses for #1 have had.

  7. Both are wrong Barry but Aceves is in the same boat as Albers in relation to the right answer. The relationship is they are 2nd year Red Sox players, not a newcomer this year. And so is the correct player.

  13. Jason Varitek on 9-29-02 hit a HR off the monster off Travis Harper of Tampa Bay Devil Rays.

    From 1969- 1977 Ramon Aviles played in the Red Sox system. In 1977 he played one game for the Red Sox ( 2 innings), then from 1979-81 he was a utility INF for the Phillies, including on the 1980 NL pennanst winning team.
